Sorry it's been awhile posting to our blog. We finely  was able to pick up our RV on March 15 th , We was there at 8.30 to pick it up and expressed our unhappiness on how long it took for Gerber to fix it. It has been 3 months of waiting for the work to be done and I want to give a Big Thank you to my sister-in-law Bernie and her husband John for letting us stay with them. Kenny expressed his unhappiness on how long it took Gerber to get the  job done. The manager did a lot of apologizing ,and took us back to the shop to do a walk through . The  inside  work was to our satisfaction, but on the walk through  on the out side, we found were Gerber missed a lot of scratches were they had to install the awing arm. Again more apologizes, and was told that could be buffed out and painted for us to pick it up at 5. Also some of the front decals was missing for the front . Here Kenny informed them that he was Not bringing the RV back to them. The manager then express we have all the right to feel like this, and he would gladly come to us to put them on.

So we brought our RV to Kenny's work were we are safe from trees, Kenny is a little gun shy of them for  now. We spent Saturday doing a good Spring Cleaning from ceiling to floor due to the Shop Dust, and Margaret even found some mouse droppings too. That lead her into I got to pull every thing  out of the cabinets to bleach and wash every dish, cups, pots, pan,silverware  with good old soap and bleach. She only went thru 2 tanks of water which lead to draining  the tanks twice too. Good thing she had retired on March 25 to do all that work.

The manager from Gerber brought the decals a couple weeks after we got the RV to Kenny's work, and when he put them on, he only had one side. The other side as of today 4/14 have not gotten to us. Hope its soon before we leave on the 28th, if not think that Gerber will kept that promise to bring them to us were ever we are. Ha Ha.

Last Saturday Kenny and his brother in law John got the 4 new batteries installed for the solar panels, which I had helped Kenny ran the wires inside the RV.earlier that week. Yesterday we go our logo put on the back of the RV, and cleaned the inside of the truck out . We are hoping for some nice weather soon to scrub the truck and RV down.

Today Kenny's work is giving him a Retirement Party early, since some of his co workers are going on vacation  the week that we are heading for our new adventure's . April 28th is on our Count down, can't believe how fast the last 2 years went by for me. Kenny on the other hand said it was too long. 

Once we get on the road hope to post a lot of pictures to share with everyone.
